🎳 State Finals Update: Sharks Take on Taylor! Our St. Louis Sharks Boys Varsity Bowling team traveled to Taylor this past weekend to face off against the best in the state. It was a weekend of tough oil patterns, stiff competition, and a whole lot of heart. 🏆 Team Competition On Friday, the boys battled through every frame. Despite the challenging conditions, the team fought their way to a 12th place finish out of 16 teams. While they missed the cut for match play, we couldn't be prouder of the grit and sportsmanship they showed on the big stage! 👤 Individual Standings Saturday saw Thailan Raby and Merick Bartlett return to the lanes for the individual competition, bowling 6 grueling games to climb the leaderboard: Thailan Raby: Finished strong in 13th place, qualifying for bracket play! He went toe-to-toe with the 3rd seed from Byron in a hard-fought match. Though he didn't take the win, making the top 16 in the state is a massive achievement. Merick Bartlett: Pushed through the tough conditions to finish 30th out of 56 bowlers—a solid performance in a very deep field! Way to represent St. Louis, Sharks! You showed everyone what it means to keep fighting until the last pin drops. 🦈💪 #GoSharks
