Sharks Battle Through Tough Outing The St. Louis Varsity Sharks fought through a challenging game, showing patience at the plate despite the result. Hoyt led the offense with a hit, while Zacharko, Siefka, and Parker Wonch each worked a walk. Strong showed strong plate discipline, drawing two walks, and both Inbody and Zacharko added stolen bases to create scoring opportunities. On the mound, Siefka threw one inning, allowing four hits and three earned runs while issuing two walks. Wonch followed with two innings, giving up four hits and two earned runs with two walks. Harrison closed things out, tossing two-thirds of an inning, allowing no hits but surrendering four earned runs on six walks. Game Two- Sharks Strike Early, Battle Through Game 2 The St. Louis Varsity Sharks came out aggressive in Game 2, jumping to a 3-1 lead in the first inning thanks to a pair of perfectly executed suicide squeezes. Offensively, Siefka, Strong, and Hoyt each recorded a hit, while the Sharks stayed active on the bases. Zacharko and Keityn Clark each swiped a bag, and Bentley Inbody added two stolen bases to keep the pressure on. On the mound, Strong started and worked 2 2/3 innings, striking out hitters but battling control issues, allowing four hits and eight runs while walking seven. Inbody followed with 2/3 of an inning, giving up four runs on five hits and three walks. Raby provided a solid effort in relief, tossing 1 2/3 innings, allowing no hits and just one run. Sharks back in action Thursday after at home vs Clare
