Sharks drop a pair! Sharks lost game one 5-21. Zacharko and Clark had the lone two hits in the game with Clark adding 2 RBI's. Inbody worked a base on balls and added a stolen base. The guys battled in game two until the final out Tuesday night but came up short in a 10-7 loss to the Ogemaw Heights Falcons in varsity baseball action. The Sharks showed resilience throughout the game, scoring in four different innings and putting together a strong fifth inning rally with four runs to close the gap. Despite being outhit just 7-5, defensive miscues proved costly as St. Louis committed six errors in the contest. Bentley Inbody led the offensive effort for the Sharks, finishing 2-for-4 with two doubles and two RBIs. Inbody also added strong work on the mound in relief, tossing two innings while allowing just two runs and striking out two. Carson Zacharko, Keityn Clark, and Miles Strong each collected a hit for St. Louis, while Clark drove in a run and showed aggressiveness on the bases with two stolen bases. Strong also swiped two bags, and Zacharko added another steal as the Sharks continued to pressure the Falcons on the basepaths. Thailan Raby contributed an RBI and provided solid relief pitching, allowing just one run over 1.2 innings while striking out one. The Sharks pitching staff combined to allow seven hits while striking out four. Marcus Hoyt got the start, with Inbody and Raby providing relief efforts to keep St. Louis within striking distance late in the game. Even in defeat, the Sharks continued to show fight offensively, scoring seven runs on limited hits and taking advantage of aggressive baserunning to stay competitive throughout the matchup. Sharks are back in action Thursday in Harrison
