Sharks take two W's Bentley Inbody’s Big Day Propels St. Louis Past Harrison. Bentley Inbody collected three hits in three at bats, as Sharks defeated Harrison 9-8. Inbody singled in the third inning, singled in the second inning, and singled in the seventh inning. Sharks opened the scoring in the top of the first thanks to two singles. Sharks first got on the board when Marcus Hoyt singled, scoring one run. The boys jumped back into the lead in the top of the third inning after Parker Wonch was struck by a pitch, Inbody singled to center field, and , each scoring one run. Sharks took the lead in the top of the fourth. Tiger Russell singled, scoring three runs, to give Sharks the leg up, 8-5. Hoyt earned the win for Sharks. The reliever allowed one hit and three runs (one earned) over two innings, striking out none and walking one. Thailan Raby led things off on the bump for the Sharks. The right-handed pitcher gave up five hits and five runs (three earned) over three innings, striking out one and walking one. Inbody collected the save. St. Louis collected nine hits in the game. Russell, Wonch, Raby, Carson Zacharko, Hoyt, and Inbody each drove in one run for the Sharks. St. Louis had patience at the plate, collecting nine walks for the game. Keityn Clark, Dylan Harrison, and Inbody led the team with two free passes each. Inbody stole two bases in the win. Games 2- The Sharks were victorious 11-8 in the night cap Harrison got on the board in the top of the first inning after Kegan Chaskey singled to center field, and Parker Latunski grounded into a fielder's choice, each scoring one run. In the bottom of the first inning, St. Louis went back into the lead after Carson Zacharko flew out, Thailan Raby singled to center field, Harrison committed an error, and Parker Wonch walked, each scoring one run. Sharks added to their early lead in the bottom of the second inning when a steal of home scored two runs, and Tiger Russell singled, scoring one run. Zacharko earned the win for the Sharks. The reliever allowed seven hits and five runs over six innings, striking out six and walking four. Bentley Inbody stepped on the mound first for St. Louis. The starter surrendered three hits and three runs (two earned) over one inning, striking out one and walking two. The Sharks accumulated 10 hits in the game. Russell and Miles Strong each collected two hits. Marcus Hoyt went 1-for-4 at the plate and led the team with two runs batted in. The boys had patience at the plate, piling up seven walks for the game. Keityn Clark and Dylan Harrison led the team with two bases on balls each. Zacharko and Inbody each stole multiple bases for the Sharks. St. Louis ran wild on the base paths, collecting six stolen bases for the game. Sharks are back in action this Saturday in Ashley.
