The St. Louis Sharks defended home turf and took home the championship at the Hanline Grand Slam Tournament! Game 1 vs. Bad Axe — WIN 14-3 Paige Luneack dominated in the circle with 10 strikeouts. Halle Hoyt crushed 3 hits and 4 RBIs. Paige Luneack added 3 hits, 3 RBIs, and a homerun. Ellie Katt also went yard with 2 hits and 4 RBIs! Game 2 vs. Hart — WIN 15-7 Emma Pavlik picked up the win on the mound. Paige Luneack stayed red hot with 3 hits, 5 RBIs, and TWO homeruns, while Emma Seleski added 2 hits. Championship Game vs. Lake Fenton — WIN 4-2 Paige Luneack shut it down again with 10 more strikeouts! Paige, Halle Hoyt, Ellie Katt, Emma Pavlik, Kenadie Henry, and Emma Seleski all collected hits as the Sharks sealed the title!
